ARTEMİS & DİANA

Artemis and Diana are plenty and hunting figures of goddess in ancient Greek and Rome ages. Artemis belongs ancient Greek figure, Diana belongs ancient Rome figure.
Artemis is a very interesting figure, because all of Greek’s God statues look like human without of Artemis. Her body is similar fish, which has many animals and fruit figures on her body. Up side of body has many boobies, they must be grape grains or fish scales. Her head is same as woman.
Diana was always figured a woman with her dog and spear. Look like a hunter.
I knew Artemis belongs Anatolian culture and her temple is in Selçuk, Izmir, Turkey, near Ephesus ancient city but I didn’t visit it before when I was taking a photo of Artemis statue at Vatican museum in Rome, Italy. Two young women and one old man was talking about Artemis in front of Artemis statue. One of the women asked to the man. ” Is the original of Artemis statue in Turkey?” He said that “No, it isn’t you can’t find a original of Artemis statue in Turkey too.” I thought that all western government’s people has stolen many valuable things from Anatolia. When I came back to Turkey I visited Ephesus ancient city, Artemis temle and Selçuk museum and took these Artemis statues photos down there.
