BBC Learning English Yes, it has been a great loss for the World. England has lost one of her most prominent scientists. But, think of it like this... When he was diagnosed with motor neurone disease at 22, they only gave him a few years to live. He hung on until age 76! I find that inspiring!

BBC Learning English Hop Do Hi Hop. Without a context, it is difficult to say. However, it is probably related to a romantic view of countries as 'mothers' and the nation of people as the country's children. It could also be linked to the concept of 'Britannia' who is a female representation of Great Britain.
Please bear in mind that in most cases, we wouldn't use 'she' for a country! It's probably done for dramatic effect or emphasis! 😉

Everyone of us can do it. This is a brain's game. Or maybe habit... If we give
a command of ourselves, we can get the goal quite easy.. For example : My
personal experience includes molasses ( the most healthy sugar ) or I consume
organic honey.... There are a lot of alternatives to take your daily dose of
sugar... :)

AS Adel BBC Learning English I have an extremely greasy (oily) skin ,so I'm doing what I can to dry it out. Mainly by allowing myself to eat food with the least percentage of fat ,that excludes all junk food ,croissants ,all the pastries ,and dairy products. Because of the type of my skin ,all sorts of zits and pimples are popping up and so ,I was told by a pharmacist that following a specific diet would be the best assistance my skin could get

I'm not into chocolate, I hardly eat chocolate within one year except for valentine day😂
But in my room now is full of chocolates that my friends gave me a couple of days ago so it might be a little difficult for me to not eat chocolate for a month, lol

Tony Ferreira Hey there Dan , Greetings from Brazil. Well that is a difficult task for me once I can't help eating chocolate . But maybe If I were supposed do avoid it due to a health problem for example , I think I would be able to achieve this goal .

Araújo Abdula aftanoon all friends., From Mozambique. Good to be here with a great friends over the world. So for me I dont know when did I eat Chocolate. But my Wife is always on whivh is not good for her health
